The disputed, US and Israel-backed Gaza relief foundation declares it is concluding its humanitarian work in the Gaza region, following nearly half a year.

The foundation had earlier paused its three food distribution sites in Gaza after the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel was implemented in recent weeks.

The foundation sought to bypass the UN as the main supplier of humanitarian assistance to Gazans.

UN and other aid agencies would not collaborate with its system, stating it was improper and dangerous.

Numerous Gazans were lost their lives while seeking food amid chaotic scenes near the foundation's locations, mostly by Israeli fire, based on UN documentation.
