“The boxer and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to pay their final respects to his two friends who passed away as they were being readied to be sent home,” the official remarked.

A Tribute to the Fallen

The victims of the crash were identified as Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. The official further stated that the champion was filled with sorrow and overcome with emotion over the loss of his two close friends.”

His release from the hospital arrives after the sports world shared sympathy for the fighter in the aftermath of the terrible crash.
